I Was Lost. Then I Let Love Lead.
A month ago, I read a post by Steven Bartlett (Diary of a CEO) titled “I Feel Lost.” It hit me at the right time because I was deep in the proverbial wilderness—trying different things, but nothing felt aligned. I didn’t know what to do next.
So, I left a comment. It was raw, vulnerable—I figured no one would read it. But to my surprise, not only did Steven respond, but so did people from around the world. There was an outpouring of “I feel the same,” “Your story resonates so much,” “Can we talk? I want to know more.”
In that moment, I felt seen. I wasn’t alone in the wilderness anymore.
Here’s what I learned:
Wandering in the unknown isn’t all bad. It forces you to surrender, to be still, and to finally hear that quiet voice—the one that control and ego usually silence. And that voice told me:
🔥 It’s time to make my side hustle my mission.
🔥 It’s time to bring my passion projects to life.
🔥 It’s time to lead with love—unapologetically.
When I asked my inner circle if the world would support this mission, the immediate response was:
❌ “No. You can’t use that word.”
❌ “It’ll make you seem weak.”
❌ “People won’t take you seriously.”
And that’s when I knew—I had to do it.
For the last 30 years, I’ve invested in three things:
1️⃣ Becoming the best leader I could be.
2️⃣ Becoming the best mom I could be.
3️⃣ Helping others do the same.
That four-letter word LOVE is synonymous with another four-letter word: LEAD.
✨ Let Love Lead ✨ has been my motto for as long as I can remember. It’s who I am. It’s how I operate. And after seeing leadership at its best—and, more often, at its worst—I’ve decided to make this my mission:
💡 To be the leader I always wished I had—and to empower others to do the same.
